CamCopter Systems is a company with many years of experience in providing video and 35mm aerial shots with our specially equipped scale model camera helicopters. These shots are used for a wide range of reasons, from selling real estate, to action shots for Hollywood's hit movies. We offer the latest technology at affordable prices! Airstar International's CamCopter Systems has many television, movie, commercial and real estate credits to its name. With Joseph Joebstl as the pilot and an assistant to operate the camera, (which can be viewed live, via a monitor), aerial footage can be taken from a hover up to over fifty miles per hour. Previously, about the only way to get aerial footage was from a real helicopter, which can be expensive and, in many cases, too large. Through an elaborate system that includes a smokeless engine and vibration dampening system, (which Joebstl took more than four years to develop), clear, jiggle-free 360 degree pictures can be obtained. The high resolution motion picture camera used has the ability to pan and tilt fully in any direction, and can hold 200 feet of 35mm film. This particular copter is primarily crafted from aircraft aluminum for optimal strength and light weight. Also incorporated into the model for similar reasons are fiberglass, carbon fiber, and space-age materials like Kevlar, Teflon, and Delrin.

Optional equipment that can be purchased from us: Custom Painted Canopy - ($100-$350) Transmitter's - If you are interested, please request a quote. Gyro stabilization systems for the camera are available upon request and are custom tailored to each individual application. A video of the test flight, including footage taken from on board the helicopter, is available upon request!!! This helicopter can lift 10-15 lbs and stay airborne for about 30 minutes. You can use this helicopter as a trainer by removing the full self-contained camera mount system which has been integrated into the landing gear. It only takes a few minutes to convert this helicopter from a fully operational camera helicopter into a full 3-D machine or a trainer. This helicopter design has been tested extensively to ensure its reliability and safety. The helicopter is fully built and tested prior to delivery and the helicopters can complete a safe autorotation should it become necessary.
