If you are looking for the Ferrari of helicopters you have come to the right place. Airstar prides itself in design, and constant improvements. With a staff of engineers and over 100 years of combined experience they are number one in terms of design. Airstar owns its own machine shop, which includes multiple CNC machines, TIG welders, direct mold injections, fiber glassing, and a fabrication facility. When the fabrication is completed all of the components are then sent to the finishing stage. This includes powder coating, nickel plating, and anodizing. This ensures that the end product will look show quality. Along with the metal components the Airstar canopies are molded and custom painted by our award winning custom painter. Each helicopter is then built to spec at our shop by the Airstar techs. Depending on order requests each unit is built with a designated color scheme. If you are looking to design your own color scheme this is also available at no extra cost.
Once the helicopter is complete it will go through a
3 level inspection. After inspection the helicopter
is signed off and the engine will go through a
break-in procedure.
Completing the final test
flight the helicopter will
be re-fitted with a new fuel tank, spark plug, and
air cleaner. This ensures that our clients are
getting a factory tuned machine which is ready to
perform and turn heads at the flying field.
Quality control is a critical factor when it comes
to sending out pre-built machines. We guarantee each
and every machine built at this facility to meet and
exceed our high level of engineering standards.
Airstar uses licenced machinist and CAD programers,
Tig welders, and certified engineers for all
designes. Several of the employees who design our
products have interesting employment back-grounds
including jobs with Nasa and Lockheed Martin.
