MOORPARK, Calif., April 15, 2013– Airstar International, a leading supplier of high-end RC helicopters today announced it will be participating in the annual Buyer’s Expo event sponsored by National Retail Hobby Stores Association (NRHSA).   Airstar will display products, parts and service offerings to the country’s most-respected hobby store representatives as part of its efforts to increase recognition of the Airstar brand.

This year’s annual NRHSA show and expo will be held at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, Monday April 29^th to Wednesday May 1^st and will be attended by a large network of hobby professionals. The company’s exhibit will feature Airstar’s latest gas and electric product offerings, parts support and additionally will provide information on reseller and representative opportunities.

The helicopter safely and quickly collects data on both the flare stack’s physical condition and flame discharge levels. This data can be interpreted in real-time if desired. Despite the inaccessible height of these towers, Petrobras and its operators are required to inspect the flare stacks periodically from a horizontal profile, directly at the top of the tower very near to the open flames. This vantage point was previously obtained by use of a manned helicopter operating at many times the hourly cost of an unmanned platform. “Our unmanned Airstar Camcopter system allows us to cost-competitively service these major customers yet provide them with the comprehensive inspection findings which they require”, says Jardim. (Moorpark, CA) – Airstar International, an innovator and world leader in radio controlled unmanned aircraft system (UAS) helicopters, announced today that it will unveil a new line of cutting-edge helicopters at the upcoming International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Exposition from September 29 - October 3 in San Diego. The new line was made possible in part by Airstar’s retooling of their factory into a world class production facility. As part of this effort, the company is focused on the goal of having a 100% Made in the USA product that can be securely used by the U.S. Government and to better meet the anticipated production demands in the growing UAS business.

Specifically, associated benefits will be realized through enhanced R&D investments, streamlining the production process, enhanced support for all phases of R&D from design innovation to flight testing and modification, enhanced quality control and security/chain of custody procedures.
