Gears

Airstar is now manufacturing all of our own gears in-house with our new cutting machine. We have determined through testing that all model helicopters carrying more payloads than the current stock weight should be upgraded to a larger gear configuration. Our new machine allows us to fabricate virtually any gearing combination. We have increased the size by 16.1 mm in thickness to ensure positive drive and no chance of stripping or slippage. This extra area will allow every helicopter to carry a max payload with little or no stress on the main gears.
